Fashions from the North

An excerpt of the article Une mode venue du Nord (Fashions from the North) appeared in La Presse+

"Originally from Peru, Fernando Alvarez left the south of Peru in 1986 to settle in Alberta, where he quickly sniffed the potential of qiviuk. Inspired by the techniques used for making precious llama, alpaca and vicuna wool crafted in his native region, he designed a way to spin it down to make a high quality thread."
