Born in the Peruvian highlands and raised in a family with deep roots in fine textiles, he has dedicated his life to transforming the world's rarest natural fibers into timeless luxury. Guided by a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, ethical sourcing, and sustainability, his vision continues to shape the values and legacy of Qiviuk.

In recognition of his work with the communities of the Canadian High Arctic, Fernando was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Beautiful sweater

I love this sweater. I knit the same pattern in a shawl with Qiiviuk and hoped they would come out with a pattern to knit the sweater. If the pattern is offered, I'd knit another in a different color because I love how this sweater fits and the design. Very comfortable and soft.

Felt like cashmere

Bought this for my dad, he said it felt expensive. A bit of a malleable fabric, it still felt like cashmere to me, so not cotton-level hypoallergenic, though tolerable as far as wool goes.

Have yet to test this for the upcoming winter, might buy again if it lives up to the hype.
