FAQs

Why is the Brigida Woman Stole priced so high?

Unlike many natural clothing made from lesser quality fibers, qiviut as a material doesn’t shrink or felt, which means this piece will maintain its shape, softness, and quality for many years. This makes it a long-lasting investment to your wardrobe. We specialize in enduring quality clothing, not fast fashion.

How can I be sure it will be warm enough?

Qiviut is known for being softer than cashmere and eight times warmer than sheep's wool, despite being incredibly lightweight. This makes this stole very soft, warm, and lightweight.

What if I don't like it?

If there is any reason you are not happy with our clothing, don't hesitate to contact us. At Qiviuk, customer satisfaction is our top priority.

Mena Hat Qiviuk - 100% Qiviut

Warm and pretty hat

The color is so gorgeous, it is not pure red, there are warm burnt orange undertones. It fits well.

Fabric Cashmere and Qiviuk Hat

Beautiful sweater

I love this sweater. I knit the same pattern in a shawl with Qiiviuk and hoped they would come out with a pattern to knit the sweater. If the pattern is offered, I'd knit another in a different color because I love how this sweater fits and the design. Very comfortable and soft.

Cross Cable Woman Pullover Bison, Merino & Silk

My troika was completed with the purchase of the beautiful hat! Last winter I purchased the gloves. They are feather light and remarkably warm. Through the winter I knitted the cowl scarf, which I must say was a tricky knit with the tiny thin fibre of the Qiviuk yarn. Once again it is light and extremely warm. This fall I purchased a hat to match the other two and it is incredible!! You barely feel it on your head although you notice your head stays warm. The muskox know how to stay warm through the bitterest winter cold, and the products Qiviuk sell are luxurious and well crafted.

Muskox Wool Headband Qiviuk, Merino & Silk

Exquisite!

I recently purchased this cardigan and had it custom-sized for me as well as added an extra button-out collar of fox. My sales associate Patrick was the best! He answered all my questions, was very attentive and the sweater arrived in just a few weeks. It is beautifully made and so soft and light. I can dress this up or down and it’s so light I can wear it in all kinds of weather. It’s warm but somehow not overheating at all. I love it!

Felt like cashmere

Bought this for my dad, he said it felt expensive. A bit of a malleable fabric, it still felt like cashmere to me, so not cotton-level hypoallergenic, though tolerable as far as wool goes.

Have yet to test this for the upcoming winter, might buy again if it lives up to the hype.

We’re so glad your dad enjoyed the soft, luxurious feel. Qiviut is naturally lightweight and gentle, making it perfect for staying cozy all winter. We’d be thrilled to welcome you back if it meets your expectations!

Hi Paige,

We want to thank you again for taking time leaving us your kind words.
Please enjoy your cozy new hat when the cooler days arrive!
